JR. Team Tennis
Calling all Junior Tennis Players ages 6 to 18. It is time to register for the spring 2010 Jr. Team Tennis League. We will need both players and parent volunteers to coach our children to make this a successful season
Jr. Team Tennis Teams: Ages 10-18 years.
· Grouped by age and NTRP ability levels.
· Each team must have a minimum of 3 girls and 3 boys on the team.
· An awards party will be held at the end of the season for participants.
· Playing in the USTA Jr. Team Tennis program this spring will qualify your team for the District Championships to be played in Auburn July 2010.
Registration for Junior Team Tennis: Feb. 18th-March 3, 2010
WHEN: March 5-April 30th (will not play week of Spring Break)
DATE and TIME: Matches will be played on Fridays at 5:00pm.
LOCATION: Yarbrough Tennis Center
FEE: $40.00 Fee includes: balls, court fees, awards banquet , and a Nike Dry Fit Shirt. (shirt is optional if you played Junior Team Tennis Fall 2009 for championship year 2010. You will be charged $11.50 less if you do not purchase a new shirt)
QUICKSTART TENNIS :AGES 6-10 years
Once again we will have Quick Start for our younger players ages 6 to 10. Quick Start is a new format to help kids 10 and under learn and play the game of tennis. To make it easier for them, we will modify the court size, racquet size, net height, balls, and the scoring
Registration for QUICKSTART:Feb. 18th-March 3, 2010
WHEN: March 1- April 28th (will not play week of Spring Break)
DATE and TIME: Mon. and Wed. from 5p-6p. Parents will help with scoring during matches on Wednesdays.
LOCATION: Yarbrough Tennis Center.

Note: You will need a current USTA membership that is valid throughout the season to register for a USTA Junior Team Tennis program and QUICKSTART. If you need to renew your membership or become a member, visit. www.usta.com/membership or call 1-800-990-8782 before continuing. Membership for a junior is $18.00 yearly.
